1988 - Shelley Hardie Pool graduated from GC&SU in May '06 with her Masters in Nursing. She currently works with Dr. Kimberly Phillips in Eatonton, GA as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

1999 - Betsy Lee works in Nashville, and is an agent to several singers, including Kelly Clarkson and Bo Bice (American Idol winner and runner up). They don’t give Gold Records anymore but they do give “Gold CD’S” and Betsy was presented with one to commemorate RIAA Certified Gold Sales of more than 500,000 copies of Bo Bice’s first album, “THE REAL THING”.
1997 - Heather Lawren Thompson was married to Reid Evans Hutchinson on Saturday, May 19, 2007, at the Magnolia Ballroom in Milledgeville.
1999 - Brian Paul Leverett graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas on May 11. 2007. On May 12, he married Amy Michelle Hunt.
2002 - Georgia College & State University’s Justin Mills was named the Peach Belt Conference Baseball Player of the Year. Mills hit .333 for the Bobcats in 2007 and helped lead the team to their second straight PBC Championship. The senior from Ivey, Ga., led the PBC in runs scored with 78 and in stolen bases with 35, tied for the eighth most in a single season in PBC history. He also hit for power with 17 doubles, six triples and six home runs, leading GCSU with 117 total bases. He also drew a PBC-best 54 walks. He becomes the third Bobcat to claim Player of the Year honors; the first since Mike DeVeaux in 2005.
1994 - London Stephens Eady graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Masters of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner on May 4th. She plans on working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at The Women’s Care Center in Milledgeville, with Dr. Marisol SanInocencio.
2006 - M.A. Linch, a three-time MAC East Pitcher of the Week honoree, was one 14 players named to the all-MAC second team. Making 44 appearances in the circle, Linch compiled a 13-17 record and became only the fourth pitcher in program history to throw more than 200 innings (204.0 IP). Sparkling in the circle during conference play, Linch allowed two earned runs or less in 13 of her 14 MAC starts and posted five shutouts, including a complete-game six-hitter against West Division Champion Eastern Michigan (April 28). Linch ranked third on the team and first in the conference with a 1.28 ERA in MAC games. In addition to earning second-team honors, Linch was one of 10 players named to the all-freshman team.

1989 - Clint Humphrey is resigning from his position of Assistant Headmaster at Westfield Schools to become the Educational/Discipleship Pastor for CrossPoint Baptist Church in Perry, GA.
2000 - Jamie Lee Peeler became the bride of Thomas
Mell Michael on April 21,2005. The couple lives at Lake Oconee.
2003 - Amanda Peeler will be graduating Cum Laude from the University of Georgia on May 12, 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In the fall, she will be attending Auburn University for her masters in Speech-Language Pathology.
1995 - Kristin Edmonson Campbell was recently promoted to Director of Therapy Services at Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. She lives in Columbus with her husband, Jere.

2002 - Justin Mills was recently named Peach Belt Conference and GC&SU player of the week. He earned the GC&SU honor for the second time this year. Justin is a senior outfielder for the Bobcat baseball team.
1998 - Jessica (Savage) Wilkes and her husband Jeff announce the birth of their first child, Mason Leslie Wilkes. He was born on November 11, 2006.
1997 - Lawren Thompson announces her engagement to Reid Evans of Boulder, Colorado. The wedding will be held May 19, at The Magnolia Ballroom in Milledgeville. Lawren is a 2001 graduate of Mercer University and is employed as an office manager for Aesthetic Specialty Centre in Atlanta. She is currently applying to pharmacy school and is also a member of Chi Omega sorority.
1995 - The National League of Junior Cotillion has announced the appointment of Jamey Peugh Rivers as the director of its new branch - the NLJC Baldwin County Chapter. The program features character education, etiquette, and social dance training.
2000 - Wendell Sanders graduated from the United Stated Marine Corps Basic Training Depot in Parris Island, SC on April 6, 2007. He graduated with honors and was meritoriously promoted to Private First Class. Wendell will continue with special forces training at Camp Lejeune, NC.
Also, Congratulations to Wendell and Jennifer Teal Rogers on their marriage April 11 in Helen, GA.
1999 - Parker Stephens married Brittney Rogers on March 10, 2007, at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church in Macon. Parker is employed with Philip Morris USA as a Unit Manager. He is also a member of PM USA's University of Georgia Recruiting and Relations team. The couple resides in Cumming.

2006 - After posting a 1.12 earned-run average in five games and helping the RedHawk softball team to a 3-2 record the week of March 25, Miami University freshman Meredith Linch was tabbed as the Mid-American Conference East Division Pitcher of the Week. It is Linch's second career weekly conference honor.
2006 - Gordon Stewart was recently awarded the S. Truett Cathy Scholar Award. Stewart, who worked at the Milledgeville Chick-fil-A for 3 years before graduating JMA, was one of 25 students nationwide chosen from 1,200 Chick-fil-A Leadership Scholarship recipients to receive the top honor.

1988 - Pam Brookins was named 2007 Teacher of the Year for Creekside Elementary in Milledgeville. She is now automatically nominated for the Baldwin County Teacher of the Year.
