Georgia Governor’s Honors Program

For the first time ever, John Milledge Academy has been invited to nominate students for the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP), a residential summer program for skilled, knowledgeable, and talented high school sophomores and juniors.

In October, high school faculty members selected ten students in the areas of Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Music, Mass Communication, and Visual Arts to apply to the program. Semi-finalists will participate in face-to-face interviews on a university campus, and a select group of students will be invited to attend the elite program in Summer 2024.

Science: Maddie Ling, Pressley Marlar, Kolt McMichael, Hallie Beth Rhodes
Social Studies: Conner Hudgins
Music: Hanie Lam
Art: MJ Mitchell
